Solar ground anchor:

Standard or traditional ground mounts use ground anchors to hold up a racking table that supports the solar panels on rails. The exact method of anchoring will depend on your ground conditions: using concrete piers is most common, but driven piers, helical piles, and concrete ballasts are options, as well.
Standard ground mount systems typically hold the solar array in a fixed position, although options for manual adjustment are gaining popularity.
The standard ground-mount system is the easiest and most cost-effective solution for a ground install, and also the most common.

Types of ground anchor:
There are many types of anchors, and large holding power anchors are commonly used in drilling platforms, as shown in Figure 1. The main feature of this anchor is that its grip can only be guaranteed when the pulling force is horizontal. If the pulling force has a vertical component, the grip is reduced, and the anchor claw will be pulled out of the soil. Experiments show that when the anchor handle is turned upward by 6°, the grip force begins to decrease, and when the anchor handle is turned upward by 12°, the grip force decreases significantly. Therefore, when anchoring, the lower end of the anchor chain must be tangent to the seabed, otherwise there is a danger of anchoring. Lifting the anchor is to take advantage of this feature. Pull the anchor chain upward to lift the anchor handle. The anchor loses its grip and finally breaks through the ground. [2]
The choice of anchor should consider convenient operation, convenient storage and economical application, but the most important thing is the holding power of the anchor. On the one hand, the holding power of anchors is not known because of the different types of anchors, and on the other hand, it is related to the soil quality of the seabed.
With the advancement of ocean development to deep water, new requirements have been put forward for anchoring. In deep water, if the lower end of the anchor chain is still required to be tangent to the seabed to ensure the anchor's grip, the required chain is very long. Therefore, it is necessary to study anchors that can withstand vertical component forces, such as cement weights or anchor piles. When piles cannot be driven due to lithological seabed, bored and cast-in-place anchor piles can be used. Some anchors are designed according to a specific seabed, and when used under conditions that do not meet the design requirements, the working performance of the anchor will be poor. Although there are formulas for calculating the holding power of various anchors under different seabed conditions in Figure 1, the true holding power of the anchor needs to be determined through field tests.
