The Proper Installation Of No Wrench Ahchors
Sep 01, 2021| Today we will introduce how to proper install the no wrench anchors. 
The no wrench screw ahchors are available with helix diameters ranging from 4" to 15" and length reaching to 8'. It is matched with an rod. The rod diameters range from 3/4" to 1 1/4".
The no wrench anchor can be installed by hand or with power equipment such as digger truck.
Installation tools: kelly bar adapter, bolt circle asapter and no wrench earth anchor drive tool.
attaching the anchor drive tool to truck's kelly bar. Using a bent arm pin and coil lock when attaching the drive tool to the cali bar.
placing the anchor eye in the drive tool
inserting the pin through the plates and tab and securing it with the pin clip. The pin transmits torque to the anchor during the installation.
Aligning the keeper plate so the anchor rod is centered in the drive tool.
inserting the pin through the plates and tabe to secure it the keeper plates help hold the anchor in line with drive tool.
Beginning with the anchor in near vertical position down pressure is needed to strat the anchor.
Once the helix has started to penetrate. We begin to align the anchor to the proper guy angle.
Once the anchor reaches the proper depth, making sure to finish the anchor installation with the eye aligned in the correct position to attach the guide wire dead end.
Removing the pin from the anchor eye.
Removing the pin from the keeper plates and rotating the plates away from anchor rod
Lefting the tooling from the anchor to complete the anchor installation.
