The slope protection system is an enhancement to the current soil nailing technique. The system is designed to achieve a higher strength with the added end bearing force, compacted frustum and tied back plate which distributes force evenly to the finishing surface in turfing or shotcrete depending on the design.
The higher strength combined with surface interlocking connection between each point together perform as a structural network. This allows the points to be spaced at a larger interval compared to conventional soil nailing.
The system is design to be more effective than the conventional soil nailing technique, while allowing for cost, time and man power savings.
