Ground Anchors in Transmission Line Engineering
Jan 11, 2023| Ground anchors in transmission line engineering:
In the construction process of tower and wire erection of transmission line engineering group, ground anchor is mainly used for the anchorage of wire or wire. It is a mechanical tool and an important factor affecting the construction safety of the whole project. At present, the classical formula in line construction instruction manual is used to calculate and check the pulling force of construction ground anchors by referring to the soil weight method. However, it is shown in the drawings that the pulling force direction is inclined upward in the pulling line direction, which is inconsistent with the concept of pulling force in soil mechanics. In order to avoid potential safety hazards in the construction site of transmission line engineering due to inaccurate calculation results, based on the analysis of the original classic calculation formula of ground anchor pulling force, the earth weight method in soil mechanics is used to introduce the limit buried depth to correct the original classic formula, recalculate the ground anchor pulling force and analyze the results. By comparison, it is found that the calculation error of the original classical formula is large under the condition of poor soil quality, which can not meet the requirements of checking the calculation of the pulling force of the ground anchor on the construction site. The modified formula can be used to calculate the pulling force of ground anchor in transmission line engineering more accurately.
