2. Size of the anchor

Examples:

granular (颗粒的）soil， Stiff cohesive（粘性的） soils displaying short loadlock and extension characteristics, a broad frustum of soil immediately in front of the earth anchor and extremely high loads. They require a small size of anchor.

weaker cohesive soils displaying short loadlock and extension characteristics, a broad frustum of soil immediately in front of the earth anchor and extremely high loads. They require a larger size of anchor and if possible a deeper driven depth to achieve design loads.
