Earth anchor for tree staking
Nov 08, 2024| Earth Anchors: The Landscape Professional's Choice for Tree Staking
When it comes to staking trees, landscape professionals trust Earth Anchors for a secure and reliable solution. With a variety of sizes available, choosing the perfect anchor for your tree is simple. Plus, thanks to bulk pricing options, you can stock up on these essential tools without breaking the bank. Just keep in mind that a drive rod is required for installation, and we don't include it in the package.
Why Choose Earth Anchors?
If you want to ensure that your newly planted trees don't get uprooted or damaged by strong winds, Earth Anchors are an excellent choice. These anchors are designed to provide superior holding power that is equivalent to using large-diameter wooden stakes, without the worry of them rotting or warping over time.
Moreover, Earth Anchors are made of high-quality steel, and their helix design goes deeper into the soil, providing a larger surface area for better grip. They work especially well in areas with loose or sandy soils, where traditional stakes and ties may not be sufficient.
Finding the Right Size
To select the right Earth Anchor for your project, you need to know the diameter of the tree you wish to stake. Our products come in six different sizes, ranging from 20 inches to 48 inches in length. It's important to choose an anchor that's long enough to penetrate the soil deep enough to provide the necessary support.
As a general rule, three Earth Anchors are recommended per tree, each placed equidistantly around the trunk, at a distance of about two-thirds of the tree height. This allows for a strong triangular support that will hold the tree firmly in place.
Bulk Pricing Options
At Earth Anchors, we know that our customers often require a large quantity of anchors for their projects. That's why we offer attractive bulk pricing discounts for orders of multiple units. Depending on the quantity, you can save up to 30% off the regular price.
Don't hesitate to contact us if you need a quote for a large order. We'll be happy to work with you to find a solution that meets your needs while saving you money.
Drive Rod Requirements
It's worth noting that Earth Anchors require a special tool, called a drive rod, for installation. Unfortunately, we don't include this tool with our products, as it's a separate item that can be bought from most hardware stores.
The drive rod is used to screw the Earth Anchor into the ground. It fits snugly over the eye of the anchor and provides leverage for turning the helix into the soil.
To install Earth Anchors properly, you'll need to make a pilot hole with a pointed bar or a drill bit. Then, insert the drive rod into the eye of the anchor and turn it clockwise until it's fully embedded in the soil.
If you're ready to take the first step in securing your trees, Earth Anchors are the way to go. With their superior holding power, durability, and easy installation, they provide a cost-effective and long-term solution for your landscaping needs.
