The monitoring of the stress distribution of anchor rods has always been one of the difficulties in geotechnical anchoring engineering. According to the characteristics of distributed optical fiber sensing technology based on Brillouin optical time domain reflectometer, the layout scheme and installation process of sensing optical fiber are designed; Combined with the anchor rod pull test, the feasibility of this technique for anchor stress state monitoring was analyzed. The results show that the distributed optical fiber sensing technology based on BOTDR has the advantages of simple structure, easy to lay out and installation and large measurement range, which can intuitively obtain the overall stress and strain distribution characteristics of the anchor rod under load at all levels, and the regularity of many test data obtained in the test is good, and the technology has broad application prospects in the long-term monitoring of the stress strain distribution status of the anchor rod.
